TERRITORY SECURITY PROJECTS, 12 MILLION FOR SANNIO MATERA “THANKS TO THE INTERNAL MINISTER”

“I would like to thank the Minister of the Interior, Matteo Piantedosi, for this new certificate of attention to the needs of our territories”. Thus the Senator of the Brothers of Italy Domenico Matera in commenting on the decree put in place on the 17th April with which the Dicastery in question admitted to financing, for the Sannio, approximately 12 million resources to finance the implementation of definitive and executive projects relating to works to secure the territory. There are 45 projects financed, to be precise, in favor of Fragneto l’Abate, San Nazzaro, San Bartolomeo in Galdo, Ginestra degli Schiavoni, Santa Croce del Sannio, Buonassociazione, Circello, Foiano Valfortore, Cerreto Sannita, Reino, Moiano, Pietraroja , Tocco Claudio and Arpaise (three projects each). “This Government is making tools and concrete elements available in order to encourage the development of the South by pursuing what is one of the main objectives of the programmatic agenda with a view to closing the distances between the north and the south of the country. The Sannio has received great attention – comments the Sannio parliamentarian – Once again we are investing with an important effort with a view to securing the territory with hydrogeological risk mitigation actions which are absolutely central and relevant in a territorial context as fragile as ours. Working in terms of prevention represents great wisdom on the part of the Government. Similarly, applause should also be given to the mayors and offices of the various municipal entities who, with punctuality and work, have been able to seize this important opportunity which will possibly allow for the construction of works at zero cost to their respective budgets.
