The street food truck festival lands at Parco del Popolo

Truck Food and street cuisine continue to gain more and more success, even in the Reggio Emilia area. After the flavors of Puglia last week, the Street Food Truck Festival arrives in Reggio city this weekend, at Parco del Popolo, in the historic centre, from today until Sunday, with free entry. It is a “caravan of taste” that has been crossing the Bel Paese for about ten years to offer gastronomic excellence typical of Italy and beyond.

Three days at Parco del Popolo with unique colours, smells and flavors coming from everywhere, as well as excellent craft beers, all enriched by a quality musical selection. Among the ingredients of the selected street foods offered on Apecar, carts, vans, bicycles, caravans, motorbikes and trailers equipped with hotplates, ovens, fryers and grills.

Stands active non-stop tonight from 6pm to 1am, tomorrow from 11am to 1am, Sunday from 11am to midnight. The list of food trucks present at the Reggio Emilia park is long: Scottadito, Bbh Smokehouse, Black Angus Food Truck, Pan Pan, Dalila’s Street Bakery, Porcobrado, Marchese Cannoli, Trentintrac, Original Greek Eat, Daje Food Truck, Awakte Zaperoco, Saccoccia Romana, Patatina Food Truck, Bbq Chianina Station, Apolpinfaccia, Nannì Sapori Romaneschi, Philly Food, Wonderfood. The gastronomic offer is vast including sheep’s roasts, fried fish cones, Chianina hamburgers, crepes, Sicilian cannoli filled at the moment, sandwich with octopus or with oxtail, Roman supplì, potato rösti with Trentino salted meat, Alto speck Adige and mountain cheese, potato bites, speck and cheese and more.
