School and culture: opening of the Vincenzo Ragusa Museum – O’Tama Kiyohara – BlogSicilia

Two days of celebration for the reopening of the museum which is located inside the “Vincenzo Ragusa and Otama Kiyohara – Filippo Parlatore” Higher Education Institute in Piazza Turba in Palermo and for the 140th anniversary of the foundation of the same institute. The exhibition celebrates “Japanism” in Sicily and its two greatest exponents of the time. The celebratory postcard from Poste Italiane.

Palermo. The press conference to present the Japanese section and the new exhibition layout of the “Vincenzo Ragusa O’Tama Kiyohara” museum. The exhibition aims to commemorate the 140th year since the foundation of the institute, initially called the Industrial Art Museum, Workshop Schools. The event will be sealed by a philatelic postmark operated on site by Poste Italiane.

At the end of the press conference, those in attendance will be able to preview the museum section. The official ribbon cutting, however, is scheduled for Tuesday 23 April at 6.00 pm.
