ALPINI MEETING, VICENZA IS COLORED IN TRICOLORS
30 thousand tricolor flags will color Vicenza for the National Alpine Gathering and the city is dressing up, preparing for this historic moment 33 years after the last one hosted. The 95th edition was officially presented in the presence of the city and regional civil and military authorities. The people of Vicenza must be ready to host an event that is estimated to bring four hundred thousand visitors to the city. On the website of the Municipality of Vicenza you can already find all the useful information to experience the Gathering in peace and with collaboration. In particular, the map of the city where the areas that will be the main protagonists of the three days of events and traffic restrictions have been identified. As per the request of the prefecture and the order of the Mayor, all schools in the Municipality of Vicenza of all levels, public and private, including nursery schools, nursery schools, university institutes and the Conservatory, will be closed on on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th May.
