music at the Church of San Michele Arcangelo in Montecelio

On Sunday 7 April the music resonated again within the evocative walls of the Church of San Michele Arcangelo in Montecelio, kicking off the 10th edition of the Corniculum Festival organized by the Pour le Piano Association, under the artistic direction of the Masters Adolfo Capitelli and Andrea Calvani. A special edition that celebrates ten years of success and commitment to spreading musical culture in the Guidonia area and surrounding areas. A rich and diversified program awaits enthusiasts in the coming weeks, with events ranging from classical music to jazz, from chamber music to operatic repertoire.

The concert series was inaugurated by an exciting concert by the Cornicolana Choir, expertly directed by Maestro Manuele Orati, introduced by the young and talented pianist Elena Camilloni on the notes of Beethoven’s Al chiaro di luna sonata. The Corniculum Festival therefore confirms itself as an event of great cultural importance, capable of animating the territory and offering the public moments of intense beauty and profound emotion.

Thanks at the end of this opening concert went to the artists, the public and the administration of the City of Guidonia Montecelio for their support of the initiative. The next event of the Festival will be Saturday 20 April at 6.00 pm, featuring the pianist and composer Francesco Marano.
