THE BCC increases noticeably support for members and the territory thanks to the important results obtained during 2023, presented in the financial statements which will be submitted for approval of Members in the Assembly in Faenza at PalaCattani on 27 April 2024 from 5.00 pm. During the Assembly, some important statutory and regulatory changes will also be decided upon.
THE BCC, in compliance with the provisions of the Statute (art.2), “has the aim of favoring members and members of local communities in banking operations and services, pursuing the improvement of their moral, cultural and economic conditions and… social cohesion and the responsible and sustainable growth of the territory in which it operates”.
Our institute wanted to support its own territory in particular, disbursing further in 2023 12 million eurosincluding charity, sponsorships, benefits, extraordinary interventions for the flooddividends and revaluation in favor of the Shareholders.
With these words the President of the BCC, Giuseppe Gambi comments on the results of the year 2023: “I want to thank the over 37,400 members for the trust reserved for our credit cooperative. We are very satisfied with the 2023 result (which marks a profit of 57.7 million euros), however I believe that we will be one of the few banks to have a profit decreasing by 20% compared to the 2022 results. Moreover, on 63 Common in which we operate, 60 were declared flooded. When our territory suffers, our BCC cannot help but suffer with it. However, the good income capacity has allowed us to concretely support it, allocating the overall record amount of more than that 12 million euros (of which 6.5 million dedicated to extraordinary interventions following the floods of last May)”.
BCC increasingly positions itself as a local bank, with a perspective of caring for others and serving the community.
