He worked as a professional mechanic Manuel Cavanna, the 23-year-old originally from Le Chianacce di Cortona who lost his life today, 19 April, in an accident at work. The episode, as learned, occurred inside the Elle Emme company, specialized in horse boxes and sheds, at approximately 12.30 pm located in Tre Berte in the municipality of Montepulciano.
At the moment the causes of the accident, as well as the exact dynamics, are being examined by the investigators even if, according to the very first reconstructions, the young man was working on a trailer when a metal bar slipped and hit him in the chest.
The emergency medical workers of the Tuscany South East ASL, the Nottola medical vehicle, the Pegaso air ambulance, the Chianciano Terme public assistance ambulance, the fire brigade, the carabinieri, the Pisll personnel (Prevention hygiene and safety in the workplace) and the magistrate on duty.
An investigation has also been opened into the matter, a necessary action in these cases, which will have the task of shedding light on the details of the incident and ascertaining any responsibilities.
