Roads in Foggia, definitive renovations carried out by Enel. “Other routes will also soon be restored”

SThere are 23 city streets in Foggia with definitive restorations by Enel in progress or about to be carried out in the days to come, carried out after the construction of road underground services with tampering with the subsoil and road damage.

These are works already foreseen by the managing bodies in the authorizations issued by the Municipality and for which the administration Episcopo immediately initiated discussions aimed at demanding punctual execution in perfect workmanlike manner, unlike how, in several circumstances, it had been found to have been carried out late and with questionable finishes in previous years.

Added to these roads are another 43 already completed in recent weeks and a further 37 will be added whose restoration will be carried out in the coming months, at the end of the 60-90 day period envisaged in the authorization to allow the physiological settlement of the road surface under traffic before definitive restorations.

“It is the result of the new modus operandi implemented by the Municipality of Foggia, based on continuous dialogue between the municipal administration and the companies that operate underground – explains the councilor for public works, Giuseppe Galassowho carried out an inspection together with the mayor in the morning Maria Aida Episcopo in via Bonante, via Miranda, via Napoli, via Nedo Nadi and via Pietro Nenni, all streets on which work in progress by Enel is clearly visible with milling, laying of new asphalt and recent resurfacing of new horizontal signs -. In the next few days, other roads will be added to the list of restorations thanks also to the ready availability of the other companies subservice operators, including AqP, Tim-Fiber Coop, Open Fiber, Fastweb, Amgas and Wind Tre. In the case of this morning’s inspection, we must recognize Enel’s prompt response for the restoration of the road surface along roads affected in recent months by major underground works which have caused many inconveniences to citizens. At present there are over one hundred city roads on which ENEL will carry out definitive road resurfacing works – specifies Galasso – with clear and great benefit for our city, which for a long time was deprived of road restoration works carried out well and extensively in all areas previously affected by underground works. We will continue with this incessant control action and will soon repeat this inspection also for works carried out by other underground service companies”.
