Brescia Calcio responded with irony and sarcasm to the recent rumors of a possible purchase offer received by the club. In a press release, the club in via Solferino jokingly stated that it was considering turning to the Rai television program “Chi l’ha visto?” for information on the issue, in reference to news leaks from a local newspaper.

The club’s statement

“With reference to the news reported this morning by a local newspaper, the Owner confirms that it met the aforementioned company months ago and is considering turning to the Rai program ‘Chi l’ha visto?’ to get news on the matter.”

According to what was reported by the newspaper “Bresciaoggi”, Brera Holdings PLC, with registered office in Dublin, Ireland, and operational headquarters in Milan, seems to have expressed a concrete interest in the acquisition of the blue and white club. The company is already active in the world of sport, owning the Busto Arsizio women’s volleyball team, which plays in Serie A1. Furthermore, Brera Holdings PLC owns football clubs in Mongolia, Mozambique and Macedonia, including the Brera Academy, chaired by Goran Pandev, a well-known former Inter and Lazio footballer.

Again according to what was reported by the local newspaper, it seems that the Torbole Casaglia sports center which is not owned by Brescia is excluded from the acquisition offer.
