After conquering the difficult Interregional SERIE B Championship with two days to spare, last night the boys Under 19 Gold they conquered the Absolute Regional Titlerepeating last season’s success and qualifying for the play-offs for access to the National category finalalso overcoming in the return match away from their direct opponent to win the trophy, Magic Chieti, with whom they had finished tied in the standings before the decisive match.
After winning the race PalaAngeli (73-58), the young players from L’Aquila clearly overcame the green-and-whites of Teatini at the end of a match played with great determination by the team from the capital and won with a score of 84-59: a very delicate match since after the unexpected defeat in the group against Isernia, Magic Chieti would have been enough to win even by just one point to overtake Nuovo Basket L’Aquilano in the standings.
