The Administrative Team of the Police Headquarters, following specific control services which involved the food and drink administration activities, sanctioned five premises on the seafront where, with the approach of the summer season, an increase in the concentration of people, especially in the evening and night hours.

During the checks, the occupation by four rooms of portions of public land in front of the business exceeding those authorized by the municipal authorities was detected, through the placement of tables and chairs, which also represent an obstacle to the possible transit of emergency and rescue vehicles, resulting in a situation of potential danger to public safety; at the end of the checks, the envisaged financial sanctions were applied to the owners. Another venue was fined for playing music outside of permitted hours.

Controls by the State Police will continue to verify that commercial activities are carried out in compliance with laws and regulations.
