Yet another case of violence against a dog in Sicily: it happened to Bagheriawhere two boys aged 20 and 22 were stopped and reported for animal abuse after a complaint from a citizen.
The incident occurred in the last few hours in the Scotto Lanza district, on the outskirts of the city.
Abused dog in Bagheria, the story
According to an initial reconstruction of the facts, a group of boys – some of them minors – chose a macabre “pastime”. The young people allegedly mistreated a pit bull dog, injuring it and even putting a noose in it wire around the neck. Fortunately, a woman would have noticed the terrible situation and would have reported everything to the 112 operators. Two of the members of the group would have already been identified and are being investigated for mistreatment of the poor dog. The animal was rescued and fortunately appears to be doing better.
The case of the mistreated dog in Bagheria was also addressed by thecouncilor Giuseppe Tripoliwhich has announced its intention to become a civil party in the event of legal proceedings.
The cases of Alcamo and Carini
A few days ago another shocking case of mistreatment of a dog, this time in Alcamo (TP). A little dog named Nina she was hit – apparently voluntarily – by a car, for no reason, and left dying on the street. Unfortunately there was nothing that could be done.
Furthermore, a third case affected the city of cute, where ENPA reported the discovery of a poor dog hanging from a tree. An act of unprecedented wickedness, photos of which circulated on social media and aroused the horror and anger of citizens.
