The Pro Patria is saved! Rossini: “Now we want seventh place”

After the free throw by +3, 58-55, scored by Ludovica Rossini“star” point guard of Hupac Pro Patria Busto Arsizio, another 4 seconds of fear pass. Those used by Broni to attempt the desperate 3-point shot of a possible draw good enough to send the two teams into overtime. The Bronese ball crashes onto the scoreboard and at that moment the celebration of the busty players explodes who, finally, after too many weeks spent in the cellar, can come out to breathe the scent of mathematical salvation. So next year too the white and blue team will be at the starting line of the Serie B championship.

Pro Patria’s season therefore ends in the best way, i.e. with an expected but not predictable result, which, between now and next May 4th, the closing date of the regular season, will be able to face the three remaining races with great serenity and, also, the tranquility necessary to possibly give space and minutes to the girls who have played less and to the young players.

“Having secured your stay in the category – says Rossini, one of the absolute points of reference of the white and blue team -, will allow us to take the field with a clear head and without pressure, but the objective is still to finish the championship well while still trying to produce good performances, therefore without throwing the oars in the boat starting from the scheduled away match in Bresso against a direct opponent (Busto won 66-54 in the first leg) to conquer the final seventh place”.
