Ibrahimovic: “I’m happy at Milan, I couldn’t refuse Cardinale’s offer!”

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has released statements on the new role he plays at Milan and on the proposal received from Cardinale

Zlatan Ibrahimovic was a guest on the Swedish podcast ABTalks Of Anas Bukhashwhere he also spoke about his new role at Milan. On being manager of the Rossoneri club: “Cardinale made me an offer I couldn’t refuse. I started working with Milan and I’ve been at Milan for three or four months and it’s going well, I must say”.

On Raiola:When he passed away it was a hard blow for me. I cried a lot. And it’s not over yet because sometimes I get flashbacks. I miss it too much. Everyone who knows me and him understands how close we were. What if you could send him a message? I miss you”.

About family:My wife always tells me ‘remember who took care of you before you started taking care of the family’. She gave up her career for me. She accompanied me in everything she did, she gave me everything and gave up everything for me. I don’t think you should have a big ego in a relationship, to be above someone else. I think she should be 50/50, obviously she takes more responsibility in some things, and in others I take more responsibility”.

Relationship with children: “People may think we are a family living a luxurious life, but she does the washing and cooking. The only help we have is a cleaning lady. I take the kids to school, I pick them up from training like a normal family and that’s how we chose. In the whole school (in Beverly Hills), only my kids rode bikes. The other families had nannies who dropped off and picked up the children, or a driver. That’s not who we are”.
