Three teachers and six students from the Cassini High School in Sanremo participated in an educational experience in Latvia from 10 to 17 April thanks to the Erasmus+ project. The students had a short mobility experience while the teachers carried out job shadowing activities at a high school in Jaunpielbaga, in the north-west of the Baltic Republic.

“Once they arrived in Riga – explains the note -, the group was welcomed by the local teacher who organized the program which saw the students participate in lessons with their Latvian peers, and the teachers engaged in observation activities of the organized lessons from the host school.

In the following days, students and teachers participated in other learning and cultural exchange activities, including a nature excursion and a visit to a nuclear bunker dating back to the Cold War. The last days were dedicated to discovering Riga with guided tours of the city and its most important places.

This initiative, made possible by the Erasmus+ team of Liceo Cassini with the financial support of the European Union, highlighted the importance of international education in promoting collaboration and intercultural exchange, leaving a positive impact on all participating students and teachers “.
