Following the prevention, control and surveillance services carried out in public entertainment and entertainment venues in the seaside resorts of the Municipalities of the Province of Ragusa, several violations of the provisions of the Penal Code and the Consolidated Law on Public Safety (TULPS) were found. ).

The detection of violations during administrative checks carried out in a public establishment located in Marina di Ragusa was significant. Although the owner had previously been warned by the Police Commissioner not to organize public entertainment activities without the relevant authorisation, it was discovered that dancing entertainment was being carried out without verifying the usability of the structure and without the Police Commissioner’s license required by articles 68 and 80 of the TULPS. Consequently, the owner was administratively sanctioned and referred to the Judicial Authority for the violations of the law found.

Similar violations were also found during checks carried out in two public businesses located in the seaside hamlets of Scicli, by the staff of the Modica Police Station. Even in these cases, although the owners had previously been warned by the competent authority, it was found that dancing entertainment was being held without the license of the Police Commissioner, as required by the art. 68 and 80 of the TULPS. The owners of the commercial establishments were therefore administratively sanctioned and reported to the competent Judicial Authority for the violations found.
