Difficulties in accessing housing require shared synergies and multidisciplinary approaches, with this in mind, a meeting was held yesterday, Thursday 18 April, at Palazzo Zanca with representatives of the property owners’ and tenants’ unions to share the further actions that the municipal administration is carrying out in this sector.
In the meeting, called by the mayor Federico Basile, the councilor with responsibility for housing policies Alessandra Calafiore was present, in which the acronyms AMPE, ASPPI, CASA MIA, CONFAPPI Messina, FEDERPROPRIETÀ Messina, FE.NIT, participated for the property owners, UNIONCASA, UNSI CASA, UPPI, while representing the tenants and assignees, Unione Inquilini Messina, SICET, SUNIA, UNIAT and ANIA. During the meeting, in particular, the renewal of the Territorial Agreement in implementation of Law no. was discussed. 4317 of 1998 and the Decree of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport of 16 January 2016, as well as the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding which, through the use of financing to which the Municipality has access, can facilitate access to the rental of properties by the many interested citizens in need.
“The initiative promoted by this Administration – underlined Councilor Calafiore – is part of the various approaches that it is already adopting in response to housing hardship with a view to generative welfare, for which structured interventions are envisaged which aim to intercept needs that go beyond the need for accommodation by providing guidance and support for autonomy”.
