FIESSO UMBERTIANO (Rovigo) – Sunday 14 April, a Umbertian Fiessothe fifth edition of the “Spring Festival” promoted by the Municipal Administration and in collaboration with the volunteers of the associations: “Fiesso in Festa”, “Tuttisuono”, “the friends of the Polesano truffle” and “Viva Vittoria”!
About forty stalls, with typical products, flowers and aromatic herbs, handmade creations, hobbies, clothes, beauty products, sweets and much more… filled the square in front of Villa Morosini Vendramin Calergi, Municipal headquarters, creating a kaleidoscope of colors and flavors.
The lunch offered to the many people who attended was organized by Alex Catozzo who prepared roasts and fried fish, while towards the evening the volunteers of the “friends of the Polesano truffle” and “Fiesso in Festa” distributed the risottos with wild wild herbs for free.
Throughout the day the guys from “Fiesso in Festa” proposed the Aperifif with their tasty fried food and small sandwiches with grilled meat and onions.
The children were able to play with the “medieval games” and were entertained by the “Musiklandia” entertainers with games, dances and costumes, a large inflatable also found its place in our square.
Also present wasIpsaa “Bellini” from Trecentaagricultural address, with their flowers grown in educational greenhouses and the “Pettirosso” Association which offers support to disabled children through dedicated workshops and activities.
Among the exhibitors was also present Anna Maria Sgualdo from “Viva Vittoria” for the sale of blankets which will finance projects to combat gender violence, the Municipal Administrators purchased a blanket which was placed near the municipal banner to reiterate the unanimous NO of the entire community against violence against women.
The kids also livened up the day “Vespa Club” who with their beautiful Vespas, starting from the roundabout near the elementary schools, traveled along our municipal roads and let everyone admire their well-kept vehicles.
