Violence continued even after the couple’s separation
Staff of the Crotone Flying Squad carried out the precautionary measure of removal from the family home and prohibition of approach with application of the electronic bracelet, ordered by the investigating judge, against a 48-year-old man, investigated for mistreatment in the family, committed to the detriment of the wife.
The provision arose from the woman’s complaint and subsequent investigations conducted by the Flying Squad investigators, which made it possible to reconstruct the story, characterized, according to the prosecution, by verbal, insults and physical attacks perpetrated for years by the man towards his wife, even after the separation.
The man, in fact, continued to mistreat the woman, not wanting to leave the marital home, as agreed in the separation document.
After the complaint, the “code red” procedure was immediately activated, with the coordination of the Crotone Prosecutor’s Office.
In a short time, elements were collected on the basis of which the Prosecutor’s Office requested and obtained from the investigating judge the issuing of the precautionary measure.
