Saturday 20 April at 6.30 pm, at the Serart Gallerythe event “ will be held in Via P. Andiloro 6G in Reggio CalabriaVerses by Rosso” – Poems and paintings. The painter from Reggio will be exhibiting Pierfilippo Bucca while the poems are by the poetess Sonia Impalà, the theme of the evening is the female universe. The Serraino family’s art gallery, for over half a century, has been not only a professional laboratory but also a hospitable and attentive nursery for the talents who create art in any form which it promotes with passion and seriousness and, often, hosts meetings that see bringing Art closer to Culture.
On this occasion the allies are “Pens and Brushes” to outline the only protagonist, the woman, in her sensuality. The woman who has always been the emblem of beauty is a continuous source of expression for every artist and in Saturday’s event she will be treated with an unusual and pungent exhibition. The poet, who published her first poetic anthology with the Apulian publisher Gian Carlo Lisi by GCL Edizioni, presents an independent and decisive figure, with an awareness of his attitude towards pleasure. By reading her nonconformist verses, she will show us a rebellion against submission, preferring mental harmony but also an explosion of passion in the body.
Skin is the only clothing that belongs to us and from this comes his poetic inspiration, whose writings are accompanied by bold and brazen images. She will explain the need for her pseudonym, exposing a single body but with two different and distinct voices, in a continuous struggle between being and appearing.
The painter Pierfilippo Bucca at the same time he will support the dialogue by exhibiting his paintings which have always had an analysis of women in the most varied aspects between the real and the surreal. Between fire and feathers, eyes that scrutinize emotions in a silent darkness, that scream dreamed and experienced ecstasy, the artist will lead us on a journey full of sensuality and desire, knowing how to combine voluptuous but also elegant and romantic works, with a vibrant line and powerful.
The artistic idyll between the writer and the painter was born with the creation of the cover of the book, for which Bucca, translating the poetic compositions, with his creativity created an exclusive painting and, subsequently, curating a series of pencil sketches of nudes artistic, skilfully managing to enhance the words of the poem with illustration.
By the professor Mario D’Ascola the deepening of this dialogue which will try to highlight the connections between writing and painting where the language of emotions has a single voice represented by art in all its forms. The professor who has always collaborated in disseminating and communicating culture, will try to penetrate the souls of the artists to find the right balance between hearing and seeing.
During the evening the young people Cinzia Monorchiotwenty-three year old university student, e Ilenia Cannizzaroeighteen year old high school student, lovers of theater and acting, will give voice to the writer’s poetic texts, with their personal interpretation.
The event will end with a tasting buffet.
