FRIDAY: A low-pressure circulation, causing showers and thunderstorms in the early hours of the day, gradually recedes, allowing the entry of drier air which will bring widespread clearing in the evening. In particular, in the Daunia and Murge area there will be very cloudy or overcast skies with rain and showers, including thunderstorms, especially during the morning.

During the evening there will be a rapid improvement in weather conditions. On the Tavoliere and on the northern Adriatic coast, very cloudy or overcast skies in the morning, with rain and thundershowers which will tend to ease in the afternoon, with a subsequent clearing in the evening. On the southern Adriatic coast, very cloudy or overcast skies in the morning with rain and showers, including thunderstorms, which will ease in the afternoon, with clearing in the evening. On the Ionian coast there will be widespread cloudiness with rain and showers, including thunderstorms, which will give way to clear spells in the evening. As for Salento, very cloudy or overcast skies with rain and showers, including thunderstorms, which will ease in the evening. The winds will be moderated from the north-eastern quadrants, with rotation to the north; the freezing point will be around 1600 metres. On the Lower Adriatic and the Otranto Channel the seas will go from slightly rough to rough.
