THEOn 17 May 1965 the Italian Post Office issued this 70 lire stamp (valid for sending a letter abroad) to celebrate the International Telecommunications Union, where the Florentine appears Antonio Meucci and Guglielmo Marconi: the first inventor of the telephone, while the second was responsible for the intuitions about the diffusion of radio waves. Only in Italy has a stamp been printed that unites these two characters, thus enhancing their historical greatness…
Tuesday 30 April from 4.50pm to 7.00pm the BiblioteCaNova Isolotto it turns into a place of study and memory, all of it in collaboration with Quartiere 4 and theLucanian Association Florence. Coordinate and present Giancarlo Passarellaalso for his move from private broadcasting to Rai Radio Uno in 1986/87, broadcasting both from Via Asiago 10 in Rome but also from the Tuscan regional headquarters. April and May are also symbolic months to remember Radio Co.Ra, because they were the last in 1944 in which it broadcast to put the Allies and the partisan resistance in Florence in contact: but that seed of freedom germinated, leading to the beautiful season of free radios and Quartiere 4 has always assumed the role of welcoming with the unforgettable Radio Fantasy (in via Coppo di Marcovaldo). Radio news is also a hotbed of modernity, just think of the web broadcaster Universe Station (in via dell’Argintero) and to the teaching experience of Radio NaveTondathe web radio at the Montagnola school…

– the DJs of Radio Fantasy, the station they passed through Davide Sagliocca, Enrico Tagliaferri, Tommy Kelvin, Fabrizio Faber, Marco Baldiniauthors of a maxi 45 rpm record that made a splash.
