Arturo Brachetti in “Solo the Legend of quick change”

The success of the show “SOLO the Legend of quick change” by Arturo Brachetti never ends, again on stage at the Morato on Saturday 20 April 2024. The protagonist is transformism, that art that has made him famous throughout the world and which here reigns supreme with over 60 characters, many created specifically for this show. But in “SOLO” Brachetti also proposes a journey into his artistic history, through other fascinating disciplines in which Chinese shadows, mime and chapeaugraphy, and surprising innovations such as poetic sand painting and the magnetic laser beam. The mix between traditional scenography and videomapping, then, allows you to emphasize the details and involve the spectators in the show. Tickets still available in the usual presales.

Don’t die alone – Brescia

At 5pm on Friday 19 April, the Aula Magna of the University will host the second meeting, free and open to all, of the “Dialogues on Eternity” event linked to the theme 2024: “Don’t die alone”. The research conducted by teachers and students of the psychology faculty will tell how young volunteers today experience accompaniment to death, pain and what motivations and hopes move them. What are we leaving as an emotional and supportive legacy to our children, and what is our relationship with fragility? Psychologists and educators discuss it with students and the public. The conference will be opened by Professor Ines Testoni, director of the Master in Death Studies and End of life”

“This year we wanted to make not only the audience of the Exhibition even broader and more plural but also the impact, often hidden and little known, of pain and death throughout life and in its different phases of growth”, argued Paola De Cesari, of the Oltrepassando association: “Thanks to Prof. Testoni, we were also able to involve Prof. Elena Marta and Prof. Livia Cadei, of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, in the scientific direction of the 2024 edition, thus inserting in the program two recently completed research projects involving the respective students of Milan and Brescia, delving into the experience of pain and suffering. Two targets were analysed: young volunteers who support the sick on a pilgrimage to Lourdes and young people with elderly grandparents who, after having shared important emotional spaces throughout their lives, are approaching their sunset. We will be surprised together with the public this Friday, to discover a still little explored perspective on these themes, from which to be amazed and questioned.”
