The right to health for transgender people is discussed in Terni with Carolina Morace

TERNI – Access to the national healthcare system for transgender people and the relationship between discrimination and the right to health. This is the theme of the meeting on May 4th scheduled for 5pm in the Raffaello room of the Hotel Michelangelo in Terni. The initiative is organized by the 5 Star Movement in collaboration with the Esedomani association and is part of the events on the occasion of the Terni Pride which will be held on May 25th. The objective of the meeting is to explore issues relating to access to healthcare by transgender people, combat discrimination and promote the right to health for all.

Speakers during the meeting will include: Carolina Morace, lawyer and former footballer and first woman to lead a professional men’s team; Fabrizio Marrazzo, activist and spokesperson for the Gay Party for LGBT rights; Paola Babocci, psychologist and psychotherapist; Giulia Senofonte, endocrinologist expert in gender affirmation paths; Francesco Pietro De Angelis, bearer of experience; Giulia Grani, bearer of experience. The meeting is open to all and represents an important opportunity for discussion and awareness on a highly topical issue.
