MESSINA – The queen of dance music Neja will sing in Messina: on Friday 19 April the Piedmontese artist will inaugurate the “Drip Event One” in viale San Martino 14, offering a live concert entirely dedicated to the 90s and 2000s with her successes including Restless, Shock, The Game and several iconic songs of that period such as The rhythm of the night (Corona), Freed from desire (Gala), What is love? (Haddaway), Feel it (the Tamperer), Vamos a la playa (Miranda) and many others.

Neja, born Agnese Cacciola, has been one of the most influential and loved singers in the disco music scene since 1998: “She made the best vibrate dancefloors of the world – highlights the entrepreneur Nicola Giannetto, promoter of the event which will have free entry but by invitation – has sold over 4 million copies, winning fans everywhere and we want to offer the public a journey through music full of memories and emotions, in able to fascinate and attract even the new generations, ready to rediscover unforgettable sounds that have marked pop and dance music all over the world”.

Neja, in over 25 years of career, has brought her voice to large stages and prestigious broadcasts such as Festivalbar (editions of ’99, 2000 and 2002), Un disco per l’estate (won with “The game” in ’99 ), up to the most recent television appearances such as Arena Suzuki (broadcast on Rai and hosted by Amadeus) and Boomerissima (broadcast on Rai 2 with Alessia Marcuzzi). In her shows the singer always offers famous songs, making the audience experience a real journey down memory lane full of memories and emotions.

Appointment at “Drip Event One”: at 7pm the band La Soluzione will open the concert, at 9pm Neja will perform live, accompanied by Maurizio Presente’s DJ set.
