I am underway works of the Italian Railway Network (lead company of the Infrastructure Hub of the FS Italiane Group) relating to extraordinary maintenance in the Sant’Antonio Mantovano station of the Verona-Modena line.

The activities, which include the renovation of eleven switches and approximately 500 meters of trackare necessary to guarantee the regularity of the service offered and the adaptation of the railway infrastructure, for the benefit of punctuality and comfort and will be carried out mainly with midweek night interruptions, from 10pm to 6am, until the deadline scheduled for May 21st .
The Municipality of Porto Mantovano will also be interested with the reconstruction of the level crossing on via Belgiardino (with closure from 9am on 6 May 2024 to 4pm on 14 May 2024), which will subsequently lead, in some traffic conditions, to shorter closing times and, therefore, less waiting for road users. The economic value of the overall work is over two million euros.
