Mangia’s Brucoli, Sicily reopens for the summer

Mangia’s announces the reopening of the renovated Mangia’s Brucoli, Sicily, on April 12, joining the Autograph Collection Hotels, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s global portfolio of independent hotels that stand out for their individuality. Owned by the Insulae joint venture between the leading Italian hospitality brand and funds managed by Blackstone (through Hotel Investment Partners (HIP) one of the leading owners of resort hotels in Southern Europe), Mangia’s has begun an extensive renovation of the entire facility following an investment of 27 million euros.

Mangia’s Brucoli, Sicily is located near a charming fishing village on the east coast of Sicily, boasting breathtaking views of Mount Etna and the sparkling sea, just a 40-minute drive from Catania Airport. With its elegant design, earthy palettes and textures, complemented by the stunning surrounding nature, Mangia’s Brucoli, Sicily is the ideal place to relax in style during an authentic 5-star Italian holiday.

Designed by renowned Spanish architect and designer Tomás Alía at Estudio Caramba, the 402 rooms, including 50 suites and 16 Swim-Up rooms and suites, have been completely renovated and redesigned with taste and with Sicilian symbolism present everywhere. All rooms are equipped with all the comforts that guarantee a relaxing holiday, including high-speed Wi-Fi, smart TV and air conditioning, and many of them enjoy sea or garden views or a private terrace. Guests who wish to enjoy the most exclusive experience during their stay can book the UNICO Package to benefit from tailor-made services such as early check-in and late check-out, as well as a welcome gift and dedicated private areas.

Following the renovation, the resort now has a number of new facilities, including one running track, tennis courts, beach volleyball and bowls, as well as a football pitch and water sports, including canoeing and stand up paddle. The resort also has three swimming pools: the main pool, the adult pool and the family pool; and offers an exciting bathing experience in the natural pool, in the huts and in the small secret bay.

The resort’s culinary offering was carefully curated during the renovation. Guests can choose between four à la carte restaurants which offer menus carefully prepared by expert chefs – Donna Floriana Bistrot, Al Grano Pizzeria, Scausu Grill and Kaigan Sushi Bar – or enjoy a buffet of Italian and international dishes at the Mediterra restaurant. They also have the opportunity to relax with a refreshing drink and snack at the Lime Pool Bar and Chosquito Bar.

Guests can relax at the wellness center or do some shopping in the shops while for younger guests there is a kids’ club. Furthermore, new internal spaces have been created, including a coworking room and meeting rooms with a capacity of up to 750 people, ensuring that Mangia’s Brucoli, Sicily, can host a range of MICE events.
