European elections, Ceccardi (Lega) in Marina di Massa: «Let’s defend Italian excellence»

MARINA DI MASSA – “One of the most important battles that we must continue to wage in Italy and in Europe is the one againstItalian sounding, imitations of Italian products that seriously damage our agri-food supply chain. In Italy we are moving well, in Europe much less. The EU needs to do more on this front and, at the same time, stop proposing absurdities such as the infamous Nutriscore, the French ‘traffic light’ labeling that penalizes the Mediterranean diet or the ‘terrorist’ labeling on wine bottles. We must be proud of our excellent products but we must also be aware that we must defend them vigorously, especially in Brussels, where the bureaucrats want to force us to measure courgettes and clams”. Thus the League MEP Susanna Ceccardi, guest of the conference “Made in Italy, excellence in Europe” organized in Marina di Massa (Massa-Carrara) by the ID group.
