Andria hosts the fourth stage of the ESG tour promoted by Gial Ambiente

On the morning of Thursday 18 April, at the Auditorium of the “Aldo Moro” school in Andria, the fourth stage of ESG “Door to Door”, the tour promoted by Gial Ambiente to spread the principles of sustainability within the communities served.

The appointment in the city of Andria is the fourth stage of a tour started last year, through which GIAL intends to generate involvement and participation, starting from human resources, around the ambition of building a business model that is increasingly attentive to environmental impact, social effects and the organization of governance to achieve the objectives set by the institutions and, above all, to offer a tangible contribution in initiatives to combat climate change.

«The planet calls us to a commitment that can no longer be postponed – says Piero Congedi, Sole Director of Gial – and we, as a large company, are involved as ambassadors of this message of change to be spread to stakeholders. This is where our initiative aimed at generating new sensitivity and participation around themes and principles dear to everyone was born”.

The meeting, opened by greetings from the Councilor with responsibility for the Environment, Savino Losappio, was attended by the operators involved in the City of Andria and the representatives of Sieco SPA, a company that manages the service in ATI together with GIAL.
