TREVISO – A 46-year-old man was removed from his home after being reported for domestic abuse. The family situation has deteriorated over the last few months, culminating on Sunday morning with the intervention of the authorities, as reported by the press. During a hearing, the man claimed that he was driven to this behavior due to changes in his partner’s behavior, describing a mid-life crisis that he would take her to spend the nights away from home.
On the other hand, the woman has reported continuous physical and psychological harassment, culminating in an episode in which the man physically hit hercausing her serious injuries.
The judge confirmed the measure of removal and ban on approaching his wifeleaving open the possibility that the defense will appeal to the Venice Review Court.
