“There were contacts with Cosentino”, Morselli: “But the initiative was his and not ours”

There have been contacts and in some cases there still are, even between souls in areas that are quite distant from each other. The engineer Grazia Cosentino, now leader of the alliance with the parties of the broad centre-right-moderate pact, explained that she had held discussions with representatives close to the mayor Lucio Greco, “the political group with the councilor Giuseppe Morselli”, and following a their availability. All this while he reiterated that councilor Romina Morselli is instead to be considered “not an alternative” to the current mayor and therefore difficult to place in the coalition. “I have no intention of causing controversy because there is no reason – says councilor Giuseppe Morselli – I just wanted to point out that the contacts took place not at our availability. I had a telephone conversation with engineer Cosentino. She was the one who contacted me. You told me that you thought it was right to wait until Mayor Greco decided not to run. For the rest, however, I too, very calmly and with the utmost kindness, replied that we could not provide feedback because we had no news regarding the choices to be made”.
