Accumulations ranging (depending on the areas) from 5 to 20 centimeters of fresh snow, including Amiata.
We cite as an example the snow showers in Mugello up to 700 meters, the snow reported on the Colline Metallifere which mixed with rain reached 600 meters and then very cold everywhere with minimums of -5 degrees at 1900 meters above sea level.
Little to say: winter is back. Since the summer has almost started, everything has been turned upside down with truly significant temperature changes. Let’s not forget the highs of 32 degrees just last weekend.

It seems so, even in the next few days we will remain under the attack of cold arctic currents which will reignite the instability several times. Cold instability which will therefore be a harbinger of new rainfall, often thunderstorms and also new snowfalls, moreover at altitudes similar to those today.
We can therefore expect a possible further strengthening of the snow cover, especially above 1300-1500 meters and temperatures still constantly below the average for the period.
Apart from the break that awaits us in the next 24 hours (Friday), already on Saturday we will return to deal with further bad weather which will occur especially in the afternoon with the risk of snowy thundershowers in the mountains.
And then from Sunday and the beginning of the week more cold air may arrive to complicate the situation.
So it doesn’t end here: the season remains hours nailed to a late winter trend that will probably drag on until almost the end of the month…
