The “June Youth” event returns, a series of events proposed by young people and dedicated to young people. Until May 8th, ideas and proposals can be presented to enrich the calendar of shows, concerts, exhibitions and conferences that will enliven the youth meeting centers, squares, museums, parks and sports facilities of the City in the month of June.
The proposals must be characterized by the involvement of the public – and, in particular, young people – and by the ability to animate places in the city, from the center to the suburbs.
With this public notice the Municipality of Naples intends to offer young people the opportunity to express their creativity through music, visual arts, photography and writing. Everyone will be able to choose their own language and highlight their talents, skills and spirit of initiative, through a participatory process. The Municipality, in fact, will actively collaborate in the implementation of the proposals, sharing their contents and objectives.
For the municipal administration, this way of building initiatives through forms of participation means that young people feel increasingly like protagonists of the city and an active and diligent part of the community since young people are committed and best express their potential, especially when they are treated topics that are close to their heartstrings.
