Energy transition, Anci: “Municipalities install new photovoltaic systems”

Energy transition, between improving the quality of life and an opportunity for entrepreneurial development. It was discussed on the morning of Thursday 18 April in the Provincial Palace, as part of a meeting – organized by Confcooperative Piacenza in collaboration with Anci Emilia Romagna – aimed at public administrators of local municipalities to delve deeper into the topic from an administrative and technical point of view.

pnrr funds for energy sustainability interventions

“Starting from the fact that 44 percent of the Pnrr funds have been allocated to promote energy and environmental sustainability interventions – he pointed out Gianluca Bariola, director of Confcooperative Piacenza – we have several opportunities ahead of us that we cannot miss. The entire challenge of the energy transition, in its various facets and regulatory, technical and managerial implications, brings with it significant opportunities for the territory, for businesses and for citizens, in the vision of the civil economy promoted by Confcooperative. The latter intends to take on a role of technical and regulatory facilitation aimed at all those involved in the construction of networks, as well as providing almost tailor-made support for developing entrepreneurial ideas”.

areas for new photovoltaic systems

“There are various mechanisms that need to be activated so that the energy transition really begins to become something real” he explained Alessandro Rossi, energy, environment and sustainability representative of Anci Emilia Romagna. “First of all, we need to reduce imports of fossil fuels, after which we can ask the Municipalities to make surfaces available to create new renewable energy plants: in this sense, both the Region and our president Luca Vecchi have launched an appeal to the Municipalities to identify the areas suitable for the installation of new photovoltaic systems“.
