“You become champions”, keynote speech by Nicola Fabozzi at Giordani

The first stage of the project initiative “THE SOUTH CALLS YOUTH” launched by the entrepreneur Nicola Fabozzi, owner of the companies Novasider and Siderale and author of the book “You become champions.”

During the conference, Nicola Fabozzi will share his experience and the winning actions described in the book to encourage young people to discover and bring out their potential, thus making their dreams come true. The “THE SOUTH CALLS YOUNG PEOPLE” project was created with the aim of involving students from high schools and technical and professional institutes in Southern Italy to approach the world of work and business by discovering a new way: it is possible to live well and realize oneself professionally even In southern Italy.

SOUTH CALLS YOUTH is a morning of sharing and discussion which also offers the opportunity for participants to explore opportunities available for their future. What the initiative involves: all 5th grade students of the Institute are invited to take part in the event and will be actively involved in sharing their opinions and filling out a post-conference approval form. Subsequently, a meeting will be organized with all the young students interested in an internship opportunity at the Fabozzi Group companies.

Antonella Serpico, principal of the Institute, welcomed the initiative with great pleasure by opening the doors of the school. The conference, moderated by the journalist Aline Improta, will also see the participation of the mayor of Caserta, Carlo Marino, the honorable Salvatore Aversano and Don Antonello of the Lourdes Church of San Nicola La Strada.

It all starts from YOU – from the book CHAMPIONS YOU BECOME by Nicola Fabozzi: “To be a champion you have to work to create the best version of yourself in life, the rest will come by itself. What really matters are the values with which we choose to travel the our path and the positive impact we leave along our path. I wrote this book thinking of the young people, of the children of my land. I hope that by reading my book they become aware that it is possible here too, that if they want they can do even more of what I have done. Every day I ask myself what I can improve on to be the entrepreneur with whom a talented young person today would choose to work. We entrepreneurs must invest in the talent and potential of the new generations, offering young people the opportunity to get involved and believe that even in a small and medium-sized Italian company they can feel valued and fulfilled. We must be mentors, guides and supporters”.

“Being a champion is not a matter of destiny. It is a choice that each of us can make”, concludes the author.
