2,971 services and activities and almost 1 million euros for the development of the Third Sector – Targatocn.it

It was a well-attended meeting on Wednesday 17 April in Cuneo, in the presence of the 327 members of Società Solidale ETS (there were 167 ETS participants), the managing body of the CSV in the province of Cuneo. An assembly full of agenda items in which the 2023 financial statements and social budget were unanimously approved.

The social balance sheet referring to the activity carried out in 2023 was presented by the CSV director Manuela Biadene and highlights important numbers: they were 2,971 services in favor of the 582 ETS accredited to the CSV; 93% was provided directly by internal CSV staffa sign of continuous training, many years of experience and preparation of the staff.

The most important numbers, as for 2022, were recorded in the area of ​​qualified consultancy/assistance and accompaniment: 1,584 services/activities carried out among routes proposed directly by the CSV (workshops for the creation of new ETS, on budget schemes, design, etc.) and direct consultancy provided vis à vis the ETS.

Then there are the numbers relating to the training they saw 406 trained volunteers from 149 ETS in the 19 courses organized by the CSV. To these, we must add: 9 training courses carried out as part of the selection notice for the development of training ideas. Finally, in 2023, the CSV of Cuneo became an active part of GLUO, the national collaborative volunteering platform promoted by CSVnet and the network of Volunteer Service Centers to multiply collaborative welfare experiences, allow people and communities to share resources and expertise and develop relationships of trust.

Also worth highlighting is the commitment to promotion of the culture of solidarity towards young people: they were involved 7,260 students from 34 schools. The meetings took place with the collaboration of 220 ETS for a total of 428 volunteers.

In the information and communication area, two new tools have been introduced to promote volunteering: the “Società Solidale” magazine which has been completely digitalised and can be used via the institutional portal and the “VolontAIR” Podcast which tells, through the voices of the protagonists, stories of volunteering.

He has declared Massimo Maria MacagnoPresident of CSV Cuneo: “This assembly also highlighted the trust and affection of the local volunteers, it is nice to see that volunteers from the whole province are keen to participate in the associative life of the CSV. Our CSV has a very close relationship and collaboration with the ETS: a fact to highlight is that, in our province, over 50% of the ETS registered with the RUNTS are served. For the future we aim to keep the relationship with the associations alive; jointly we are working, and we are already reaping the first fruits, on building effective and positive collaborations with local bodies (Foundations, public and private bodies).”

The numbers of the 2023 financial statements, presented in detail by Dr. Moletti Riccardo (CSV accountant), highlight a CSV “healthy and efficient” (as highlighted by the report of the Board of Auditors which was read by the President of the Board Dr. Paolo Giordano) which also in 2023 was able to optimally manage the resources available, giving a timely response to the needs expressed by the world of the Cuneo third sector .

This allows us to look to the future with optimism, with a view to continuing to ensure activities and services for the support, promotion and development of the third sector in the province in favor of the fundamental work of the volunteers present in the province.
