Arrest for hashish dealing in Viale Dante in Piacenza: a 22-year-old boy already involved in the investigation against youth gangs ended up in handcuffs. The young man was stopped on the afternoon of Wednesday 17 April by the investigators of Piacenza Flying Squad, in collaboration with the Volanti, who also reported two people as drug users. As part of a specific service to combat youth deviance and drug dealing, the investigators of the Anti-Drug Section carried out some checks in the street where strange movements had been reported, in particular near a bar in the areafrequented by suspicious people and where episodes of violence had been recorded in the past.
Following a brief stakeout, the police noticed an alleged exchange of narcotic substances between two people in front of the bar. The police then intervened on site and first checked the buyer, who was found in possession of two doses of hashish. Subsequently, the alleged drug dealer was also searched, in possession of more than half a gram of the same substance, plus small denomination banknotes and a knife. To possess the drugs a 22 year old homeless Egyptian citizen, arrested for possession and sale of narcotic substances and taken to the police station. This is a person already involved in the recent operation called Streetbullying by the Piacenza Police Headquarters, in which he had been reported for extortion and drug dealing and hit by the prevention measure by the Piacenza police commissioner. At the end of the hearing, his position will also be examined by the local Immigration Office for the relevant measures, given his irregular position on the national territory. During the same operation, a minor girl was also sanctioned as a drug user, arrested in the company of the drug dealer and found in possession of a small quantity of drugs for personal use.
