Traditional “laying of the first stone” ceremony in via Lazio where the new municipal nursery is being built. After the construction site of the area, the excavation and the first interventions, this morning the successful company began working on the foundations.
The structure, entirely financed with PNRR resources, will be able to accommodate 133 children. As underlined by the mayor Beniamino Maschietto, the work will respond to the city’s lack of a public nursery school and, at the same time, will redevelop the last stretch of Via Lazio.
The councilor for Public Works Antonio Ciccarelli instead underlined, in addition to the size and structural peculiarities of a school destined to last for generations, also the commitment of sector V which worked quickly and carefully allowing the institution to obtain, with the PNRR instrument, a loan of 2,600,000 euros.
Also taking part in the ceremony were councilor Sonia Notarberardino, the manager Erminia Ferrara and the president of the competent commission Daniela De Bonis who, in the near future, will have to work, in synergy with the Public Education office and sector I, to make the nursery is operational.
