The Civil Protection of Campania has issued a yellow weather alert for the entire day of Friday 19 April: thunderstorms are expected across the entire territory.
After a taste of spring, almost summer, with maximum temperatures that reached 30 degrees, bad weather returns to Campania: the Civil Protection has in fact issued the message a yellow weather warning, valid throughout the day of Friday 19 April; the weather warning will concern the entire territory of Campania. From midnight today until 11.59pm tomorrow, precipitation is expected, even in the nature of a thunderstormthroughout the regional territory.
The Civil Protection, therefore, recommends paying attention not only to the forecasted meteorological phenomena, but also to those connected. In fact, due to rainfall, the following could occur: flooding, rise in hydrometric levels of watercourses, flow of water in road surfaces, runoff with transport of materials, rock falls and landslides due to fragile conditions of the territory.
Finally, the Civil Protection of the Campania Region recommends that the Municipalities involved activate the Coc (municipal operations centres) and implement all those measures aimed at preventing, combating and mitigating the foreseen phenomena.
