Prevention, DASPO arrives. Willy

The prevention activity of the Trento Police Headquarters continues unabated at the beginning of 2024. Thanks to the work of the Anti-Crime Division, 16 warnings for domestic violence and 25 for stalking have been issued since the beginning of the year. Furthermore, 24 return bans were issued against people with criminal convictions and deemed dangerous for public safety, as well as 31 oral warnings, of which three aimed at minors, and two urban Daspo measures against two perpetrators of dangerous conduct for public safety in the areas of the local railway station and in the immediate vicinity. A provision was also issued, called “DASPO. Willy” which allows people considered dangerous for society to be removed from public entertainment venues, commercial establishments or from certain areas when serious crimes have been committed near them. Added to these are also five Daspos for banning access to sporting events.
