Dfter the start of dismissal procedures by the company that manages three RSA facilities in Puglia (Campi Salentina, San Nicandro Garganico and Troia), the concern rises not only of the staff (over 100 units), but above all of the families of the guests who at any moment could be forced to abandon the structures.
This morning blitz by the general director of ASL Foggia, Antonio Nigri, at the RSA San Raffaele di Troia where he met the director and the mayor of the town of Monti Dauni. In Troia, in addition to the 40 work units, there are as many as 60 guests from across the province. The company that manages the structure is SGAS Srl of Rome, which through its administrator Carlo Trivelliannounces that it has initiated the termination of the procurement contracts due to the failure of the ASL Foggia to provide the amounts due.

The ASL Foggia, with administrative acts, took steps to settle the company’s dues, as per the tariffs established by the Puglia Region. Obviously the monthly payments were also regular, but instead we are experiencing a delay which worries us quite a bit.” Meanwhile, a regional table regarding dismissal procedures has been convened next week in Bari. “In the meantime – added Nigri – we are here today to make sure that from a health point of view the guests are well and that there is no negative impact”.
The closeness of the mayor of Troy, Leonardo Cavalieri. “We are on the side of patients and workers. The municipal administration will do its part. I am sure we will find the right solution. This structure is important for our city both from a social and health point of view, but also from a work point of view.” Meanwhile, the relatives of the guests continue to guard the structure and ask for certainties for the future.
