GALLARATE – Enrico Cantù Insurance Benefit Company presented today 18 April in Piazza San Lorenzo in Gallarate third stage of the “Serenity Prevention” project. A campaign to raise awareness the importance of breast cancer prevention in the southern area of province of Varese.

The incidence of breast cancer is approximately 55,000 new cases/year in Italy. It affects one in eight women and represents 25% of all tumors in females. Early diagnosis
For this reason the mobile clinic has arrived in Gallarate Senology at the Center of the Gnodi Group in collaboration with Lilt, Italian League for the Fight against Cancer. The project will develop over 10 days, on a monthly basis. In just 30 minutes, participants undergo a mammogram and an ultrasoundwhich constitute the main ones diagnostic tools for breast cancer prevention.
The reports are delivered directly to the patient, guaranteeing minimal waiting times and offering greater peace of mind. After Gallarate, the tour will continue until December Solaro, Somma Lombardo, Lomazzo, Saronno, Cassano Magnago, Tradate and Ceriano Laghetto.
