It will be Dino Manuzzi stadium in Cesena, the venue of the 2024 Women’s Italian Cup Final between Roma and Fiorentina. The venue was made official this afternoon, settling the last logistical piece of the match.
The two finalists of this edition will cross swords Friday May 24th at 9.30pm (Live Rai 2) in the historic venue which has already hosted an Italian Super Cup Final in 2019. That edition was unfortunate for the Viola who surrendered 2-0 to Juventus.
This time the competition is different, but the desire to bring the trophy to Florence is the same. Fiorentina arrives at the competition having eliminated Ternana, Inter and Juventus, while Roma has overcome Cesena, Napoli and Milan.
Ticket information will be released in the next few days, for now we can just mark our calendars and prepare for 90 minutes (plus any extras) of battle.
However, Roma and Fiorentina will face each other twice more before the Final. The first comparison (the third since the beginning of the season, after the two in the regular season ed) will be this Saturday at Viola Park at 4.15pm. In a month the return of the Poule Scudetto will be played, this time at the Tre Fontane in Rome. The triptych – and the season – will close with the Italian Cup Final in Cesena.
