The State Police, 17 April 2024 – Latina Police Headquarters, together with the Carabinieri, Financiers and Local Police of Latina, coordinated the operations of clearance of a property located in via dei Latinisubject to confiscation and still occupied without title.
The property was seized in 2017 and subsequently confiscated, pursuant to the so-called anti-mafia code (DL 159/2011) at the end of a targeted investigative activity conducted by the economic-financial police unit of the financial police against some professionals who are members of a criminal association aimed at perpetrating crimes INPS scams.
The confiscated property was still occupied by one of the suspects together with his family, despite the eviction order issued by the National Agency for the Administration and Destination of Assets Seized and Confiscated from Organized Crime.
This result was achieved following the synergistic activities between the Latina police headquarters, the provincial carabinieri command, the provincial financial police command, the local police command and the national agency for the Administration and Destination of Seized and Confiscated Assets to Organized Crime, under the aegis of the prefecture of Latina.
This activity, aimed at restoring legality, it is part of a broader project to entrust assets belonging to crime to institutional bodies.
