One of the most interesting players in the Chilean championship is undoubtedly Alexander Aravena (21 years old), winger – capable of also playing in more central areas – owned by Universidad Catolica who has 7 appearances and 2 goals with his team in the current top division of Chile.

Some clubs from the Old Continent have been eyeing the Aravena class of 2002 for some time now. We are talking about Spanish companies, but according to what was reported by Jorge Vargas (pictured), former defender who played for Empoli, Reggina, Livorno and Spezia in Italy, there are also two in Serie A ready to land a blow on the young striker.

Vargas, interviewed by Bolaviphe revealed: “Two Italian teams, Bologna and Empoli, also want Aravena. They asked me for an opinion and I gave them certain advice, they are two companies that invest a lot in young people. Aravena is promising and very popular, everything will now depend on the Universidad Catolica. However, for me it would be important to make an initial transit in Spain before arriving in Italy.”
