Puglia, leader of the «Con» group Tupputi leaves the group in the regional council

BARI – New shock in Michele Emiliano’s majority in the Puglia Region: Giuseppe Tupputi, Con group leader, leaves the group in the Regional Council. Two councilors also belong to the same group: Economic Development, Alessandro Delli Noci; and Tourism, Gianfranco Lopane. The announcement had already been made in recent days.

«Politics means always saying we and never me – writes Tupputi in a note – I start from this cornerstone to explain the reasons that pushed me to leave the Con movement, declaring myself officially independent from today». «Con, in my opinion – he continues – has lost its identity, its prerogatives which convinced me to believe in this new challenge on the occasion of the 2020 regional elections.
