“Associations deserve a meeting around a table”

The Democratic Party of Sanremo intends to respond to the councilor for public greenery Sandro Menozzi, who in the press has defined what they say as “fake news” city associations who are doing their utmost to safeguard the Regina Elena Gardens.

He intervenes for the Sanremo PD Anna Russocandidate for the city council and deputy city secretary, addressing the councilor directly: “These associations have been asking for a meeting with you for some time and I therefore think they deserve greater respect! They know documents and projects perfectlythey exercised the right of access to the documents, they extracted them and also incurred the costs, they have them designed with competence and professionalism. Now you can’t go out in the newspapers and say that their renderings don’t match the project. They deserve first of all a meeting around a tablewith documents and projects open and visible to all. They deserve answers based on approved documents or commitment to the corrections they ask for. So first of all they deserve respect!”.

Continued from statement of Anna Russo: “Unfortunately this is a sign of how the outgoing Administration has interpreted its mandate in recent years, far from the people, without a real discussion that respects the needs of the citizens. I am certain”, concludes Anna Russo, “that the councilors who will be elected by Democratic party in the next city council, they will certainly be able to express it greater sensitivity in welcoming the proposals and requests of the citizens of Sanremo”.
