“Help me, he raped me.” These are the first words spoken by Adriana (her name is fictitious), the 29 year old from Turin who, in the night between Monday and Tuesday, reported having been raped by a man who pushed her into a doorway in Corso Racconigi and he abused her. The 112 alarm was raised by a passerby shortly after midnight, but when the police arrived on the scene the attacker had already escaped.
The mobile radio unit investigators have carried out searches throughout the neighbourhood, but so far the fugitive has not been identified. Sexual violence it was confirmed by the doctors of the Sant’Anna hospital, where the woman was hospitalized. Adriana, in tears, told the investigators that she did not know that man and she was unable to provide useful information for her identification: «I had never seen him before her – she repeated in tears -. I only remember that he was wearing a white shirt. He covered my mouth and pushed me into the hallway.” The violence took place near a hospitality facility and Adriana would have been reported in the past for the possession of narcotic substances.
Her story brings to mind the nightmare experienced last October by a twenty-year-old, victim of a gang rape in an apartment in via Stradella. The trap was sprung after a date at Parco Dora, where the girl was allegedly given ecstasy and, perhaps, heroin. Then the party in the apartment where the twenty-year-old was raped for 9 hours before being abandoned on the street. Six people were investigated by the police.
