Verona, 17 April 2024 – Two fatal accidents in a few hours on the streets of Verona with victims of motorcyclists. Between yesterday evening and the night, four hours away from each other, two incidents similar in dynamics occurred, with the two men, both from Verona, involved having lost control of their motorbikes and hit obstacles.
A 23 year old against a tree
The first accident occurred yesterday evening, around 8pm, when a 23 year old from Verona he died after crashing his own motorbike against a tree, while he was crossing the ring road. According to an initial reconstruction, he would have lost control of his Honda by going first to hit the pavement and then against a tree. Suem 118 intervened on site and its staff attempted to resuscitate the 23-year-old who however died shortly after the rescue operations. In the accident no other vehicles were involved. The ring road was closed to traffic to allow investigations by the Local Police who intervened with 5 patrols.
A 46 year old against a guardrail
The second fatal accident occurred at 11.45pm, when a 46 year old resident of the city, after losing control of his Yamaha he crashed against the guardrail in concrete. Immediate intervention of the Suem 118 staff who attempted a long resuscitation, but shortly afterwards declared his death due to the serious injuries sustained. The Local Police, who intervened as in the first accident, diverted the traffic and notified the public prosecutor on duty.
