We need to give to Caesar what is Caesar’s. And to Casadei what belongs to Casadei. Because it’s not like every Sunday we go under the Curva Mare to sing Romagna Mia by chance. On Monday, before the start of yet another victorious match, this time against Recanatese, an awards ceremony on gender was organized in the center of the pitch, specifically dedicated to an euphoric Riccarda Casadei: Secondo Casadei’s daughter received the gift of t-shirt celebrating the promotion signed by the team. The same letter ‘B’ that dominates the t-shirt is formed by the writing of the anthem symbol of our land, composed by Secondo Casadei in 1954. Seventy years ago, a special achievement which also earned a space on the Sanremo stage. But what will Ariston be in front of the Orogel Stadium Dino Manuzzi? In fact, the recognition is worth double, because it comes among the people of Romagna, who carry in their hearts the pride and sense of belonging to a land which are translated (also) into a song. The one that is sung under the bend, while shoveling away the mud of a flood, while toasting to a future that here, under this sky, can only smile again.
During the interval of the race there was another celebratory moment, in this case dedicated to the Giostra di Cesena, which will return to animate the historic center of the city in September, presented with a costume parade of a delegation of participants in the event.
